I also identify as an emerging instructional designer and learning professional with a background in education and a growing focus on instructional design, eLearning development, and learning and development. I spent over five years in South Carolina and Georgia classrooms as a teacher. My experience in the classroom has shaped how I approach design: I start with the learner, identify the purpose, and create experiences that help people apply what they learn.
I believe learning should be meaningful, accessible, engaging, and connected to real-world needs.
